Helping Our Members Do More and Be More

Over the past twelve months, we’ve learned a great deal about what it means to work together, even when we are apart.  The Reliant team adapted quickly and confidently to changes, allowing us to continue providing excellent member service.  I have never been more proud of our employees.  2021 is giving us more opportunity to flex and adapt while looking for new and different ways to help you achieve financial success.  As the world begins to open doors back up and regain confidence, our team at Reliant is always working to introduce new initiatives to enhance service to you.

Opportunities for Financial Education 
We believe that a strong financial foundation can help throughout life, so we’ve created opportunities for you to grow your financial knowledge.  With the launch of our Financial Education Center, you can take free online/mobile courses to expand your financial knowledge.  I invite you to visit our Financial Education Center page and try a course (or a few!) to see what new and helpful information you may learn.  Covering topics from fraud and ID theft to financial caregiving and small business basics, there’s something for everyone.

Ongoing Member Referral Reward
I’ve said hundreds of times that our members are our best advocates, and we are so grateful for your loyalty and recommendation to others.  As a way to thank you and  put some extra money in your pockets, in March we introduced an ongoing referral rewards opportunity that gives you $75* for every new member you refer who joins the credit union.  If you’re one of those members who can’t stop talking about us, I hope you’ll take us up on the offer to reap some benefits from all of your kind words.

Statements and Notices in the Palm of Your Hand
We realize that mobile and online access are more important than ever, and we want to be sure you can view the documents you need, when and where you need them. As a result, we recently revamped our statement and notice process, adding the ability to let you view your statements within our mobile app, and sign up to have your notices delivered electronically.  You can now opt-in for e-notices within online banking or our mobile app—and if you didn’t yet have e-statements, now is a great time to try them out!

We have other projects in the works that I look forward to sharing with you throughout the year.  We look to the coming months with optimism, that we will have an opportunity to come together again soon.
