SODUS, N.Y., February 2, 2026—Reliant Credit Union proudly contributed $1,250 to the Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County, reinforcing its dedication to creating meaningful impact where it matters most. The donation was officially presented on Tuesday, January 27, during a check presentation held at Southlawn Elementary School in the West Irondequoit School District.
“This donation reflects our belief in the power of collaboration to create stronger communities,” said Pamela Heald, Reliant’s President & CEO. “The Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County helps bridge critical gaps for young people and families, and we’re honored to support their efforts.”
Ms. Heald, along with credit union staff, presented the donation to representatives from the Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County, a collaborative network of more than 100 local organizations working together to strengthen schools and support students, families, and communities across Monroe County. The credit union’s contribution will support the organization’s efforts to help connect young people and families with valuable resources. Reliant also recently started working with the organization to provide free financial education to students and community members served by the organization.
“On behalf of our 110 organizations and over 300 members, I sincerely thank Reliant Credit Union for their donation to the Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County,” said Dr. Joseph Fantigrossi, Director of the Community Schools Coalition of Monroe County. “This funding will assist us in continuing to support and sponsor the good work going on throughout our County and leverage the community school’s framework more fully across the 10 districts and 41 school buildings who are currently utilizing it.”
