Yes. In order to open a new Reliant account, anyone under the age of 18 will need to show one form of ID, such as:
- Birth certificate
- Passport*
- Social Security card
- School ID
- NYS Driver License
- NYS Non-Driver identification
- NYS learner’s permit
*Note: A passport is accepted for identification, but not for address verification.
