SODUS, N.Y., July 7, 2021—Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of three on its member services team. Reliant strives to offer interesting and rewarding work for all employees, and takes pride in helping to foster employee growth and development.
Alexandria Burnett and Marcy Mitchell have each been promoted to the role of Branch Manager II, a position responsible for overseeing the growth and development of member relationships within their branch community, while managing branch operations, staff development, and interacting with local businesses and community organizations.
In her new role as Branch Manager II, Alexandria Burnett will manage Reliant’s Sodus branch. Mrs. Burnett joined Reliant in 2013 and has served in a variety of member services roles since that time, most recently as Branch Manager at Reliant’s Webster branch. Mrs. Burnett holds an associate degree from Monroe Community College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from SUNY Geneseo. She lives in Wolcott with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating lasting memories.
“I love being part of an organization that really cares about its members and employees. Seeing the impact we can have on someone’s life when we save them thousands on an auto loan refinance, or help them get the home they always dreamed of is a feeling that cannot be replicated. And doing it for a company that allows for such an amazing work-life balance is just the icing on the cake,” said Mrs. Burnett about working at Reliant. “I’m so excited to be able to continue to do this job that I love, in a community closer to where I grew up.”
Marcy Mitchell will manage the Canandaigua branch in her new role as Branch Manager II. Mrs. Mitchell joined the credit union team in 2009, and has served Reliant members in a variety of roles since that time, on Reliant’s Sodus, Webster, all-branch, and Newark teams. Most recently, she served as Macedon Branch Manager. Mrs. Mitchell holds an associate degree in business administration from Finger Lakes Community College. She is currently a board member for the Macedon Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Walworth with her husband and they have two children. In her spare time, Mrs. Mitchell enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing and trying new restaurants.
“In my new role, I am looking forward to building relationships in the Canandaigua community. I hope to bridge the gap between the Canandaigua and Macedon branches to help with additional growth,” said Mrs. Mitchell. “The best thing about my role is helping our members and watching staff grow and succeed.”
Adam Kasperkoski has been promoted to the role of Branch Manager at Reliant’s Henrietta branch. His responsibilities in his new role include managing, motivating, and setting an example of exceptional service for his team. Mr. Kasperkoski joined Reliant as the Henrietta Branch Supervisor in 2019. He lives in Irondequoit with his wife and son and enjoys going on day-trip adventures with his family.
“I truly believe in Reliant’s culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork,” said Mr. Kasperkoski. “I enjoy the opportunity to continue to grow professionally while delivering exceptional member service.”
